Closing ceremony of the VII International Theatre Festival of national drama named after Karim Tinchurin took place

September 21, a closing ceremony of the VII International Theatre Festival national drama named   after  Karim Tinchurin took place.

From    September 15 to 20,  each performance the audience greeted with a standing ovation. Theaters from Kazakhstan, Kalmykia, Khakassia, Bashkortostan, Tatarstan and Chuvashia  took part in the festival. The festival program included 8 performances, which took place on the stage of     K.Tinchurin Tatar State Theatre of Drama and Comedy  every day.

After each performance discussions   were held of the  viewed performances. Theater critic at the festival  represented  a theater critic, head  offices of  national drama theaters, executive secretary of the Guild of Russian theater directors, member of the advisory board of the Moscow Prize "Hit of the Season" Korchak Marina M. (Moscow), theater critic, editor of Theatre Journal "Passion Boulevard d .10,  "Theatre Union of Russia Elena Glebova (Moscow), playwright, historian of  Tatar theater, Professor, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, Ph.D. Ilyalova Iltani Ishakovna (Kazan).

On the opening day, a ceremony of laying flowers at the grave of one of the founders of the Tatar theater, the great playwright, director and actor Karim Tinchurin   took place  . At a memorial stele with the names of victims of political repression, shot in the city of Kazan in 1929- 1942's., among them the name of Karim Tinchurin (from the archives of the Office of the Federal Security Service of the Republic of Tatarstan), brought together representatives of Tatarstan theaters, the Writers' Union the Republic of Tatarstan.

As part of the festival  a round table was held,    discussion on "Problems of development of national drama in modern society", which was attended by representatives of the Union of theatrical figures of Russia, representatives of the participating theaters.
