Grand gala concert of Tatarstan held in Astana

A  Grand gala concert  by masters of art of  Tatarstan  has been  held today at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana. The triumph was held in the framework of the Days of Tatarstan in Kazakhstan.

In the lobby of the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana,  a photo exhibition of Tatarstan and the exhibition of masters of folk crafts of the republic  was arranged. After seeing the exhibition, the official delegation headed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Astana Imangali Tasmagambetov  under  applause of the audience entered  opera hall of the palace.

The celebration began with a presentation by the    RT State Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alexander  Sladkovsky and the State Song and Dance Ensemble of Tatarstan, who performed an item  "Kazan towel." In parallel, on the big screen the audience could see  video presentation  of Tatarstan. Then,  Artur Mingazov and Marat Galimov  with  accompaniment of Tatarstan State Orchestra performed Tatar song "Salam-Salam."

Welcoming speeches  by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Astana I.Tasmagambetov were made   from the stage to the audience.

 "Welcome, our brothers, to Astana - addressed the guests I.Tasmagambetov. – We  have the honor to be participants  of such a historic event when the young capital of Kazakhstan, Astana is happy to receive  ethnically, economically strong and spiritually rich guest and friend - the Republic of Tatarstan ". He reminded that this year marks the 10th anniversary of the sister city status   official formalization between Astana and Kazan.

"These years were special, both in terms of mutually beneficial economic cooperation and mutual spiritual and cultural growth. Now,  we can proudly announce exclusively  positive dynamics, which is for the benefit of the residents  of our capitals, "-  Mayor of Astana   said.

Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the residents and visitors of Kazakhstan. He thanked the leadership of Kazakhstan for their support in  holding  the Days of Tatarstan in Astana. "This is a great holiday! Thank you,  for such a  warm welcome, "- he said.

Tatarstan President noted that  a representative  delegation came from Tatarstan. Prior to the concert in the capital of Kazakhstan,  in the framework of the Days of Tatarstan,   a business forum was held  and a number of official meetings. "We met with  leaders of the Tatar community in Kazakhstan, and tomorrow a  Sabantuy   will be held here. Here  many  Tatars  live, and they say thank you to the leadership of Kazakhstan, I would also like to thank  President of Kazakhstan for  support of representatives of Tatar nationality, "- said  head of the republic, and then wished that such meetings are held as often as possible.

Immediately, after official greetings, National Tatarstan Orchestra performed its  visit  card "Stan of  Tamerlan", causing   a great tornado of cheers.

"Kazakh Waltz"  was  performed by Regina Valeyeva and Ilyusa Khuzina. Soloists of  M. Jalil  Tatar Opera and Ballet  Nurlan Kanetov and Christina Andreeva presented an excerpt from the ballet  by  F.Yarullin "Shurale."

A storm of  applause from  the audience   received   such   artists  as Artur Islamov, Ahmet Haggadah Elmira Kalimullina Albert Asadullin, Khamdoon Timergalieva, and many others.

After performing  the  song "The Republic of Tatarstan"  by the group  "Kazan egetlere",  the audience stood up to thank the organizers of the concert for a memorable evening, which presented the rich talents of the Tatar people. But it was not yet a  final. Traditionally, at the end of the concert,  the audience  standing  sang  an  unofficial anthem of the Tatar people " Tugan Tel".
