Opera Festival "Kazan Autumn" in the open air on the square in front of the Palace of farmers has become a tradition of the Day of the city and the Republic.

This year, the State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan  under direction  Alexander Sladkovsky invited a very unusual soloist - Simone Kermes - German singer with  unofficial title of "Queen of Baroque". In Kazan, she performed for the first time.

Musicians of the orchestra during the preparation for the concert studied  history of Baroque music, and style of play of  best teams in Europe. So,  the works  by  Handel, Porpora, Monteverdi in Kazan were performed as in the XVIII century! Many of them were performed  in the capital for the first time.

To the point, stringed instruments of the orchestra - the same age of the Baroque style. Cembalo, provencal drum and piccolo trumpet  sounded. The second part of the concert was already a classic – the  works by Mozart, Rossini, Bernstein, Verdi, and Tatar composers  were performed, the press service of the theater informs.

Festival "Kazan Autumn" is held by the  State Symphony Orchestra of Tatarstan for the fourth time. The stage at the Palace of farmers is   erected  tailor-made, sound and light corresponds to the world standards. At the Opera Festival, the Day of the city under the open sky, musical masterpieces are accessible  to all.
