Exhibition Hall "Manezh" opens display "A report from the workshop" Turan Art "dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the fund

August 29,  at 15.00pm,   the Exhibition Hall "Manezh"  opens a display  "A report from the workshop" Turan Art" dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the fund.

 "Turan Art" - a company, having made   ​​a huge contribution to the revival of folk arts and development of the Tatar national arts and crafts in general.

Fund "Turan Art" combines exhibition, publishing and educational activities with production of items manufactured in accordance with centuries-old traditions of the people, adhering to strict ethnic framework.

The display, which is in "Turan Art"  Exhibition Hall "Manezh", is   very special one. Its aim - through a number of subject line  to  show the 20-year evolution of  "Turan Art" from simply collecting works of art and copying traditional patterns of folk art to creation  of independent production, the core of which - the art of costume and interior.

Interesting is division of the exhibition space on two "time zones": the past and the present. In the first room,   machines, tools, works of jewelry, weaving, as well as fragments of costumes and interiors of the past centuries are housed.  The second hall  presents  modern PDI products, samples of gold embroidery and tambour embroidery, items of  unique embroidery on leather - leather mosaic   created in the workshop of "Turan"

Center of the exhibition is composed of variations and reconstruction of male and female national costumes ensembles with a wide variety of motifs - from the time of the Khanate of Kazan to the turn of 19-20 centuries. Here panels, carpets and namazlyk,   representing samples of Islamic art are placed. The exhibition contains documents, designs, patterns, and the facilities that demonstrate a creative process. A kind of additional  section is  easel painting, sculpture, traditional music.
