Congratulation   by  the Minister of Culture A.M.  Sibagatullin on the Day of Russian Cinema

Dear friends!

Russia  is  justifiably proud of  history and achievements of the national cinema, long time having  become a phenomenon of  the world culture,    by its great traditions and a whole galaxy of great masters.    The Day of Russian Cinema, which is traditionally celebrated on August 27 long crossed beyond   professional holiday of those,  who work directly in the field of cinematography. For most  Russians, the art of cinema is itself associated with a holiday that fills their life with bright and strong emotions.

Stable, in line with all-Russian  trends,     the film industry of our republic is  developing likewise. Thanks to Tatarstan  government support,  documentary, feature and animated films  are created,  a lot of work is being done  to identify talented young people, cinema distribution is progressing, an active process of equipping newly rural clubs    by  modern video projection and sound equipment   is  underway.

Among the important dates of the year - the 90th anniversary of GBUK "Tatarkino",  successfully combining  in its activities   as the  coordinating center and the direct organizer of cinema in the republic . So, now, in full swing ,  Tatarkino  is preparing for the anniversary the X Kazan International Muslim Film Festival, which traditionally gathers  filmmakers from all over the world,  who share the motto of  Film Festival "Through the dialogue of cultures - the culture of dialogue." In the Year of the culture,  we are especially waiting  a lot of guests  for a film festival. It is symbolic that in March 2014,  Kazan took  a relay of  the cultural capital of the Turkic world. Pleased to note the fact that in all contest  nominations of the   X KIMFF    the works  of Tatarstan filmmakers  are  presented.

Cinema has always contributed to human understanding, confirmation in the society of traditional moral values and strengthening humanitarian relations between peoples and nations. And on this   festive  day  I  express gratitude to all those involved in cinematography, for their enthusiasm, creativity, dedication to the profession and the ability to give people joy and hope. Dear filmmakers, film industry professionals and veterans! I heartily congratulate you on your professional holiday and sincerely wish you good health, happiness and new creative achievements.
