Special showing at the X Kazan Film Festival: "Kurban roman(love story)"
August 26, at the Mir cinema, in a series of special press events of the X Kazan International Muslim Film Festival a film to be shown "Kurban roman(love story) : the story of sacrifice" by Salavat Yuzeev (Tatarstan). The film is based on the novel by Ildar Abuzyarov, a studio "Innovation", it is a member of the competition program of the jubilee festival. Starting the showing at 17.00PM
The film takes place in Kazan: recognizable places of the city and its environs appear in shot. All the main characters - the people of creative professions: Mars and Yusuf brothers - violinists, girlfriends Marysia and Kamila - dancer and actress. In center of the plot, a love triangle: ballerina Marysia in love with Mars, but he marries her girlfriend Kamila, younger brother Yusuf in turn loves unrequited Marysia.
Leading roles in Kurban novel are played by actors from theaters of St. Petersburg Ernest Timerkhanov (Mars) and Daniel Shigapov (Yusuf), a soloist of the ballet troupe n.a. M. Jalil Alexandra Elagina (Marysia), actress and TV presenter Laysan Dusaeva (Kamila ). One of the roles in the film is performed by Honored Artist of Russia, actress of the Moscow theater "Tabakerka " Rosa Khairullina.
Interestingly, leading cultural figures of Kazan – a soloist, the ballet dancer of M. Jalil TASTO&B Nurlan Kanetov, artists of ballet troupe and orchestra of opera theatre, chamber orchestra «La Primavera» and others. R. Salimov composer, production designer, holder of the cup of Salvador Dali A.Prostov-Pokrovsky, N. Ibragimova choreographer, producer A. Rizvanova et al. have worked over the film. The project has been supported by RT President RN Minnikhanov and the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, partners rendered financial assistance.
