August 22, in the Svetlanov Hall of the Moscow International House of Music a ceremonial opening of the Days of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan in Moscow took place.
The event was attended by the RT Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Mayor of Moscow Alexander Gorbenko, Chairman of the Moscow City Duma Vladimir Platonov, Head of Office of the RT President Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister - Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Russian Federation Ravil Akhmetshin, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan Ayrat Sibagatullin, Chairman of the Council of Muftis of Russia Mufti Ravil Gaynutdin, ambassadors of many foreign countries, and authorized representatives of the regions, many compatriots, including Belgium, Finland, America and Germany.
A hero of the Tatarstan evening became a well-known pediatrician, director of the Institute of Emergency Children's Surgery and Traumatology Leonid Roshal, whose life is also associated with the republic - in 1941, the family of a prominent doctor happened to be in the evacuation in Tchistopol city. It was here that the future doctor first went to school.
But Leonid Mikhailovich had two reasons to visit the event. The second was the presentation by Farid Mukhametshin on the stage of the House of music a title "Honorary Doctor of the Republic of Tatarstan" to his deputy - Svetlana Valiullina, who had worked for many years in Tatarstan.
Farid Mukhametshin in the official part of the event, thanked the Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin for cooperation with the Republic of Tatarstan, attentiveness to the needs of representatives of the Tatar capital. "With your support in Moscow over the past few years, a monuments to our prominent figures of culture - the poet-hero and poet Musa Jalil, Gabdulla Tukai were unveiled. We have plans for many more, I hope, with your support we will be able to implement them, "- he said, referring to Deputy Mayor of Moscow Alexander Gorbenko.

In a bright gala concert of the solemn evening took part the RT State Symphony Orchestra led by Alexander Sladkovsky, People's Artist of Tatarstan, a soloist of M. Jalil Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre Albina Shagimuratova whose talent for several years has conquered the biggest stages of the world, the soloist of the Bolshoi Theatre Mikhail Kazakov, Honored Artist of Tatarstan, the winner of the "Golos (Voice)" of the First Channel Dina Garipova, Honored Artist of Tatarstan Aidar Gainullin, Filyus Kagirov, artists and RT State Song and Dance Ensemble, the soloists of ballet Theatre named after Boris Eifman, and many others. The special guest of the concert was Nadezhda Babkina and Theatre of Russian songs, having performed an incendiary Tatar song "Tala Tala".
A festive evening ended by a welcome reception on behalf of the Republic of Tatarstan on the occasion of the Days of Culture of Tatarstan in Moscow.
