Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired published a book on the geography of the Republic of Tatarstan

Republican Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired in the framework of the project "Tatarstan at Your Fingertips" Braille Louis Braille published a book on the geography of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The book is a textbook on the geography of  native land. It tells the story of the natural and economic geography of the Republic of Tatarstan. At the same time, it is a supplement to the textbook of Geography of the Russian Federation.

The book was published with the financial support of the All-Russian public organization "Russian Geographical Society." In spring of this year, the library project "Tatarstan at Your Fingertips" was the winner of the fourth open competition for the grants of the Russian Geographical Society.

The book, published under the editorship of A.S.Taysina, this is the first edition of   within  published   project. In future, it is planned  publication (reproduction) of  books   in Russian and Tatar languages ​​on  natural, geographical, historical and cultural sites of the Republic of Tatarstan in special formats for people with visual impairments.

Currently,  printing of  another  Braille  book and signaling edition   by   relief-graphical way  on the Kazan Kremlin   is under way, the process of  reading  by  speakers  "speaking" books I on. In the near future the library and blind readers residing in the Republic of Tatarstan and outside the republic will be able to get acquainted with new editions on Tatarstan, the press service of the library   informs.
