RT State Museum of Fine Arts invites to the opening of the exhibition "Continuing the tradition ..."

RT Museum of Fine Arts invites to  the  Gallery of Modern Art for  the exhibition "Continuing the tradition ..." painting, drawing, sculpture. The exhibition opens on July 17,  at 16.00 p.

The exhibition is dedicated  to the occurred  in the spring of 2014 the first  release  of students' workshop of sculpture. It presents more than 120 student’s  works,  reflecting the creative processes taking place within the walls of the branch Moscow State  Academy of  Fine Arts  (MSAFA)  named after  V.I.  Surikov in Kazan.

Kazan branch  opened in 2008. Activities of its three faculties led by head teachers of the institute: easel painting workshop led by a member of the Russian Academy of Arts,  People's Artist of Russia, Professor AS MSAFA  A.N.   Sukhovetsky, graphic studio - Member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Rector MSAFA,  Honored Artist of Russia, Professor AA Lubavin; sculpture workshop - member of the Russian Academy of Arts, Honored Artist of Russia, Associate Professor A.V. Balashov. Curator of teaching drawing in all faculties is a member of the Russian Academy of Arts,  Department Chair of  MSAFA, People's Artist of Russia, Professor AI Teslik.

Classes   in faculties of   Kazan branch    are held  by  well known in Tatarstan masters of fine art: RT  Honored    figures of Art  M.A. Vagapov, Z.F. Gimaev, A.M. Minullin, A.V. Krylov, Honoured Artist of Russia G.L.  Eidinov,   RT  Honored Worker of Culture  A.F. Inskhakov, artists V.V. Karasev, E.S. Ermolina, B.A. Gilvanov,  R.H.Gaysin, I.I. Siraziev, S.V. Tsarev, V.G. Baranov, V.V. Piskarev.

Displayed  at the exhibition  academic , diploma  and independent creative works of students of all three workshops: painting, drawing and sculpture - the result of a collaborative effort between teachers and students.

Exhibition runs from July 17 to August 1, 2014
