Museum of Kayum Nasyri visited by Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Mr Rasul Bagernezhad Shayan

Museum Kayum Nasyri has been visited by Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Mr Rasul Bagernezhad Shayan.

Rasul Bagernezhad Shayan with interest toured the exhibition and listened   an excursion at  the museum. During the tour, he marked that language, culture and traditions of the Tatar and Iranian peoples have much in common, spoke of the need to pay greater attention to the revival of folk traditions.

Consulate General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the capital of Tatarstan was opened in December 2007 as part of the agreement between the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The main activities of the Consulate General in Kazan is development of economic and cultural relations between Iran and the Russian regions. With the assistance of the consulate in the capital, numerous exhibitions, conferences, round tables were held. Relationship have  been established in the field of education.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Rasul Bagernezhad Shayan thanked for the warm welcome  and  agreed to hold joint cultural events, the press service of PT NM informs.
