On July 5, 2014, a new tourist route to o.Sviyazhsk introduced

On July 5, 2014, a new tourist route to o.Sviyazhsk has been introduced. Now, city residents and visitors will be able to get to the island not only by land transport, but also by water.

The voyage will operate  once a day on weekends from 9.00 to 17.00. Ticket price - 200 rubles one-way. Tours will be conducted on two-deck ship "Admiral", whose capacity is 150 people, and sightseeing and pleasure boats "Moscow", a capacity of 120 people.

Motor ship  travels to be  island for two and a half hours. On board,  a tour guide to be present, who will tell passengers about the main attractions of the island-Sviyazhsk. Also, buffet will be organized where you can buy national pastries, tea, coffee, soft drinks.

The route will start from July to late September.

Historic race held on the eve of the first historical festival "Great Bulgar", which is to be held August 16-17, 2014 in the historical and architectural museum-reserve Bolgar, having entered in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The event will be attended by representatives of Russian historical reconstruction clubs. At ten thousand site, demonstration of  medieval historical battles will be held, which are to  be attended by over 150 people from more than 30 cities of Russia. Within two days of the festival, guests will participate in master classes, where you can grasp the basics of national crafts, learn dances that were popular in the 14-15 centuries, to experience the atmosphere of live music of that era, can buy souvenirs at the fair, and witness the fiery show. Also, children  playgrounds   to be arranged. The festival is planned to be held annually.
