In Tchistopol, State Museum-Reserve set up

June 11, 2014,  the Edict № 396   was    signed  on  establishment of the State budget institution of culture "Tchistopolsky State Historical-Architectural and Literary Museum."

First draft was submitted in September 2012 and within two years was  repeatedly discussed and worked out. In a series of meetings held under the leadership of Ildar Khalikov in   Tchistopol and Kazan,  a  list of structural units of the new institution was formed,   and the building  was  determined  to create a museum and exhibition facilities. The concept and development Tchistopolsky State Museum has received a positive feedback   from  Ministries of Culture of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan. Note that this is the first in the Republic of Tatarstan State Museum-Reserve with a status "literary".

In addition to updating existing exposures and new museums, the concept includes landscaping and historic center  Tchistopol.  In 2013,  by resolution of  RT  Cabinet of Ministers,  a  Historical Center  of Tchistopol was  related to cultural heritage site of regional significance. The territory of the Sightseeing is 160 hectares.

In 2012-2013,  the Project   of zones was  developed  on  protection of cultural heritage of Tchistopol. The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation dated April 28, 2014 № 750,  referred   "Historical Centre of Tchistopol"  to the cultural heritage of regional significance,   registered in the unified state register of cultural heritage (monuments of history and culture) of the Russian Federation.

Museum-Reserve will become  one of "growth points"   of  Tchistopol and the Republic of Tatarstan, an important city forming  component .

Considering  that  year  2014 declared the Year of Russian culture and cultural heritage,  Tchistopol has the   great importance for  history of Russia,  creation  of  Tchistopolsky State Historical-Architectural and Literary Museum is a significant event in the cultural sphere.
