June 6, a ceremony of closing XII festival of theatres of Russian towns

June 6,  in an old suburban town of Kolomna,  a  ceremony of closing of  the  12  festival of  theaters  of Russian towns. Festival of   minor  Russian towns,    established    by  Theatre of Nations, is one of the most important events in the cultural life of the country. From  May  31  to  June 16,  theater companies from Greater  Moscow  area, Leningrad, Kaliningrad, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Samara, Lipetsk, Kemerovo regions; Krasnoyarsk, Perm, Khabarovsk, Udmurtia and Tatarstan presented their performances to  a competent jury.

Best performance of the large form  "Romeo and Juliet" of Almetyevsk Tatar State Drama Theatre staged   by  I. Sakaev has been recognized.  St. Petersburg director Iskander Sakaev has been cooperating    with Almetyevsky theater  since  2010. Winner - performance of "Romeo and Juliet"  by  tradition of the festival will be played in Moscow at the Theater of Nations.
