The XV International festival-contest of Tatar art "Irtysh monnary " held in Semei

June 1-3,  the  XV International festival-contest  of  Tatar   art  "Irtysh monnary " dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Tatar children's ensemble " Kunnele le balachak "   was held in Semei town.

Jubilee Festival , dedicated to the anniversary of the ensemble , gathered participants from different cities of Kazakhstan , including Astana, Pavlodar, Ekibastuz , Tobolsk , and even the United States.

"In November 1988,  the first rehearsal of the ensemble" Irtysh monnary "   began, and in January the following year appeared ensemble, later called " Kunelle balachak " - says the director of Tatar  school of arts in  Semei, president of Irtysh Union of Tatars and Bashkirs, Honored Worker   of  culture, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan  Gabdulhak  Akhunzhanov . - Later, on the basis of children's music school № 1 we opened Tatar choral department, then – children’s  Tatar choral music school, and after - and art school, which, with the assistance of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev and former President of Tatarstan we  received the status of an independent legal entity,  having become Tatar  today's school of Art. Thus, the ensemble " Kunelle balachak " was the beginning of the Tatar  choral department ,  children’s  Tatar choral music school, and subsequently – and   the  very Tatar arts school. "

Among the former pupils of the ensemble " Kunelle balachak " and Tatar arts school -  having come to the contest -festival  Diaz Musalimov , who nowis   living and studying in the U.S. , where he works  with jazz groups ; winner of international competitions , teacher of  Tatar arts school and acting accordionist Ruslan Turaev ; violinist Albina Khaibullina Denmark ; student of  Kazakh National Conservatory Kurmangazy  Kuandik Azubaev  pianist , and many others - both professional musicians and teachers and students of music educational  institutions .

Talking about future plans , the director of the  Tatar school of arts in  Semei  and the  Irtysh  Union and  of Tatars and Bashkirs reported that on the eve of 2015 , declared by the President of Kazakhstan  Nursultan Nazarbayev,  the Year of  People's Assembly , Tatar School of Art and  three ensemble - Song and Dance "Irtysh monnary ",  folklore-ethnographic " Istelek "and children’s " Kunelle balachak " plan to make " Voyage  of peace" on the bus,  donated   to the school  by the current President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

"We plan to start the trip this year from  the city adjacent to rural areas, and complete them for the next year in Italy -  Gabdulhak  Akhunzhanov says. - On the way we will introduce all the work   done by  the Assembly of Peoples of Kazakhstan, our House of Friendship,   the Irtysh  Union    of   Tatars and Bashkirs . Our ensembles   enjoy  large enough repertoire,  we have something to show and see ourselves  . "

In the near future - participation in national Sabantui,  which will be held in Almaty, the Federal Sabantui festival and historical and cultural heritage " Isker - Jien " in Tobolsk,  Siberia Congress of Tatars in Novosibirsk, in celebration  of Sabantui in Semei and village Bashkul of  Beskaragai region  of    the East Kazakhstan area, which is often called " Little Kazan ."
