The Republic of Tatarstan will hold celebrations dedicated to 215- th anniversary of the International Day of A.S. Pushkin and Russian language

June 6-7,  celebrations  to be held  in the Republic of Tatarstan  dedicated to 215- th anniversary of the International Day of A.S. Pushkin and Russian language.

June 6,  at 9.00  am,    laying  flowers at the monument to A.S. Pushkin near Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre  named after  M. Jalil  with the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

A solemn ceremony at the monument to Alexander Pushkin includes the ceremony of laying flowers, speaking of  readers , theatrical poetry scenes,   music and creative rooms items.

The celebration will be attended by   RT  people’s  poetry writers and poets  and  G.R. Derzhavin  laureates, artists and creative community of the republic .

June  7,  at 15.00, pm, a gala concert  to be held  on the  Day of the Russian language   at  the M. Jalil  Tatar State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater.

The gala concert will take place in the form of synthetic musical- literary events with the participation of leading creative collectives , soloists, singers, masters of artistic expression. The  main leitmotif   of the  concert will be  a performance of the RT  State Russian Folk Orchestra  directed  by Anatoly Shutikov. Artistic content of the concert includes musical and poetic installations that recreate the unique aura of Pushkin's era.  Vocal and instrumental works to be sounded, addressed  by its  program to the creativity of  the great poet, as well as authentic sketches  of  musical life of the Russian people. The program  plans  honoring teachers of Russian language and literature.
