RT State ensemble of song and dance to perform in Istanbul and Riga

The collective of the RT State Song and Dance Ensemble will be a participant to celebrate Sabantui in Istanbul and Riga. The traditional national holiday to be celebrated June 1, 2014 in Istanbul, Turkey, June 7 - the capital of Latvia. Our artists will present to foreign spectators popular Tatar dance and choreographic compositions .

Sabantui is an international Tatar national holiday - the state  fete   in Tatarstan, a federal in  Russia, official and urban in many world capitals. Sabantui   is held in cities such as Washington, New York, San Francisco, Berlin, Tashkent, Montreal, Toronto, Prague, Istanbul and others. Every year, alternately in one of the regions of Russia with a large Tatar Diaspora officially is  held Federal Sabantui . June 15, 2014 Federal Sabantui held in Tomsk. Special guests of the event will also be artists of the    RT State Song and Dance Ensemble.

"Sabantui world wide is associated with Tatar culture, our age-old tradition - says artistic director  of  the ensemble  Airat Khametov . - This is the most favorite and happy festival: people were happy that the heavy plowing finished, hoping for a good harvest, the girls sang and danced, guys fought and participated in competitions. Today, when Sabantui stepped far beyond the Volga region,  we are pleased and proud to present folk art of Tatarstan in Russia and the world. "

The performances of RT State ensemble of song and dance are also planned for rural, regional and urban Sabantui in Tatarstan.
