May 25, at the children's camp "Baitik", near Kazan, traditional republican festival of Multinational Sunday schools and schools with ethno-cultural component of education opened.
Youth and national youth ensembles from many cities and regions of Tatarstan participate in the festival for children.
This gathering is held in late May, once in two years. The collectives and solo artists, who are willing to bring to the public creativity of its people come to take part in the festival.
During the grand opening on the big stage the ensembles from Agryz, Mendeleyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga performed songs and dances of Tatars, Russians , Kryashens, Chuvashs Mordovians , Udmurts, Ukrainian and Caucasian peoples.
The participants were welcomed by Deputy Chairmen of the Assembly Council of Peoples Saghit Dzhaksybaev and Maya Khukhunashvilli. "By such holidays we have already saved, and today we are strengthening our most important wealth - peace and harmony, multicolor cultures" - convinced the head of the Multinational Sunday school Maya Kkuhunashvilli .
In Tatarstan operate about 30 Sunday classes and schools with ethno-cultural component of education. One of the main goals - not just to coordinate their work, but see the results – how the younger generation understands the theme of mutual understanding, ethno-cultural dialogue and the need to continue the folk traditions.
Today, the festival young participants worked on four grounds where they had psychological training, guys rehearsed folk games and showed their home theatricals. The roundtable was held for teachers. The teachers of additional education shared out experiences and techniques of effective forms of work with children in the field of national education.
Tonight for children from all over the republic, a large cultural program was held. The participants of the Meeting of the Multinational Sunday schools visited Youth Theater performance " Hello, I'm Your Aunt ! ",as well as a tour of the capital of Tatarstan.
