The First Regional competition of amateur composers, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan started

Kazan State University of Culture and Arts and  RT  Public  organization  of amateur composers  " Barlau " under the auspices  of  the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatartsan  and the RT  Union of Composers in May-November 2014  announces   I  Regional Competition  of  amateur composers , dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The purpose of this competition is to identify talented amateur composers, support and promote their works    by  professional musicians     through   edition their   music collections, audio and video discs, the performance of their best works, refilling  concert repertoire of singers and musicians   by  new distinctive author’s works, the enrichment of the national musical culture  by  works of little-known authors .

The competition jury includes leading musicologists and composers of Tatarstan and Russia .

Chairman of the jury - Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan, M.P.Fayzulaeva,  Professor , Honorary Chairman of the Jury - People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan , Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan , Chairman of the Union of Composers RT R.F.Kalimullin.

The competition is held in three stages: a qualifying round , creative workshops, final.

The competition is held in  two  nominations:  songwriter (without musical training or with  musical training ) and composers- instrumentalists (without musical training or musical training ).

Final gala concert and awarding diplomas of laureates and winners of the Competition will be held in November 2014 in the Grand Concert Hall   of  Kazan State University of Culture and Arts, organizers said .
