Within the program " Day - Night - Day at the Museum" theater «Verbo» of A. M. Gorky Literary and Memorial Museum and creative studio "Divertimento" will perform

International Museum Day - a special date for each museum. During the  May holidays , museum workers would like  to surprise and please their   visitors   by  something new and unusual. This year,  A. M. Gorky  Literary Memorial Museum and the Museum of  N.G. Zhiganov   has  prepared a surprise for all fans of  the theater.

May 17-18, under the   program  " Day - Night - Day at the Museum" for the first time,   the  theater "Verbo" of  Literary- Memorial Museum  n.a. A.M.  Gorky and creative studio " Divertimento " ( Curator - composer N. G. Zhiganov museum) will perform at the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan.

In the Year of Culture in Russia and international action " Night at the Museum " creative studio " Divertimento " gymnasium № 126 in Kazan has produced a new show that will present to the audience in the walls of the oldest museum of the Volga region.

May 17,  at 13.00, a  premiere " HOTER. DOLCE », devoted to the work of composers  S. Saidashev and   N.Zhiganov - founders Tatar professional musical culture  will be performed  in the conference hall  of RT  NM.  The performers and vocals – pupils of  gymnasium № 126.

The same day, guests of the museum expects the performance of the theater "Verbo". This new literary theater  of Kazan, in which the word  of the  writer  is  interpreted in a new way and format ("verbo" in Latin - "word" ). That Literary Memorial Museum of Gorky , where generations of musicians, artists, writers and poets    would gather in an informal environment where the spirit of creativity and creation   reigned, new and unusual discoveries   would    find  its embodiment . For many young people, holidays, held in the museum (eg , "Museum party"), became a kind of art festival. So unusual theater ... with young, talented , searching  artists   is being  born in a renovated  museum   of A.M.  Gorky, who , despite the ongoing restoration work continues its activities at various venues in the city .

Innovation   of the  Theatre "Verbo" is   concluded  in the idea  that the original literary texts "are adapted " to the scene , dramaturgic adapted , with the author's word taking  a special meaning , color, creates a form of  the performance.

On museum holiday,  the  museum has prepared  four performances to the public of all ages.

May 17,  at 15.00 - " Tale of the Dead Princess and Seven Knights "    by A.Pushkin -  a farcical fun idea for the three buffoons will delight the youngest visitors ( and those, who are older - will not be bored !). Staging   by  E. Kazantsev.  Cast: Elena Kalaganova, Gulnara Mukhtarova,  Evgeny Kazantsev .

At 16.30,   the literary and musical composition " We come out of the war ", dedicated to the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 begins.  Per  works by  K. Simonov ,  B. Okudzhava , A.Mezhirov , M. Jalil , E.Asadov , Yu.Drunina ,  V. Egorov,  A. Dolsky, M.Isakovsky , V. Surkov , A. Ivanov, Vladimir Vysotsky , and  the recollections of war veterans. Staged by Youth Theatre actors: Alsu Gustova, Anna Ivanova, Pavel  Gustov.

At 19.00 - a one man show " Pink Lady " ( Eric Emmanuel Schmitt ). This is a story about a sick boy,  who is looking for answers to questions about faith, love, the meaning of life and happiness. Staging   by  Veronica Chepegina.  Performer: Reseda Khadiulina  .

Impossible to imagine the repertoire  of the theatre under  the museum, which bears the name of the famous writer and playwright of the twentieth century, whose plays on stage became the most quoted.

May 18,  at 16.30,   the  theatre will show   " Fat – faced passions " on a story by Maxim Gorky. Staging   by  Veronica Chepegina . Starring: Reseda Khadiulina ,  Ilnar Davletshin  Albina   Agliullina.
