May 16, at 15.00, in Kazan City Hall, an awarding ceremony of the Russian- Italian literary prize "Bella" by the results of 2013 (second season) will be held.
The award has been established in 2012 at the initiative of NGO "Society of Friends Tarusy – promoting to development", in memory of the outstanding Russian poet of the twentieth century Bella Akhmadulina, and is awarded annually to young (under 35 years ), authors of poetry from Russia and Italy, as well as the authors of the essay on poetry (age of the author does not matter) in three nominations.
Russian-speaking authors: "Russian poem"; "Literary-critical or biographical essays on contemporary Russian poetry";
For Italian authors: "Italian poem."
This year, a new nomination has been established "Touch of Kazan". It will be awarded on the recommendation of the Ministry of Culture and the Union of Writers of the Republic of Tatarstan poetesses (under 35 years ), living in the Republic of Tatarstan for the poem (in Russian or Tatar, translated into Russian, published in the year, preceding the year of the Prize.
Laureates are handed an award symbol - statue of Bella Akhmadulina (author - People's Artist of the Russian Federation Boris Messerer ). Premium amount in each nomination - 3000€. Prize Winners and finalists are awarded Diplomas.
