In Astana, a concert of the International Festival of Tatar song named after Rashit Vagapov was successfully held
In the year of the 10th anniversary of the festival in honor of this momentous event, an International Festival of Tatar song named after Rashit Vagapov, being one of the brightest events held throughout the year in different regions of Russia and abroad, with a great success and sold out concert was held in Astana,
In the capital of Kazakhstan, a similar concert was held for the first time. The concert was dedicated to the forthcoming anniversary of the festival, as well as the Year of Russian Culture, and declaring Kazan the cultural capital of the Turkic world.
The concert opened with a recording of the legendary Tatar singer Rashit Vagapov. Opening music festival and welcoming the audience , director and author of the project, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia and Tatarstan Rifat Fattakhov noted that the name of Vagapov and Tatar songs , thanks to the festival, are heard today in many countries.
The participants and guests of the festival received greetings from Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Arystanbekov Muhamediuly, which read out by Deputy Minister of Culture of Kazakhstan Askar Ismailovich Buribaev and thanked the participants of the festival concert Tatar song. Also, Counselor of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Kazakhstan Sergei Tarasenko spoke the words of gratitude to guests, organizers and participants of the concert.
Audience with enthusiasm and prolonged applause greeted the world famous Kazakh lady-singer, People's Artist of the USSR Bibigul Tulegenova , being an honorary guest of the concert of Tatar song named after R.Vagapov . Bibigul Ahmetovna stressed that the Festival after Rashit Vagapov paves a bridge between the multinational people of Kazakhstan and Tatarstan.
The concert program included winners of the festival, young Tatar singers Rishat Tuhvatullin, Gulsiren Abdullina, Ruslan Saifutdinov and, musicians Alisa Labzina, (piano) , Rustem Rakhmatuulin ( boyan ), having performed the works by national composers, folk songs , as well as new hits of Tatar-Bashkir pop.
Guests of the concert thanked the young laureates of the festival for their professionalism, talent and creativity in the concert, continuing the traditions worthy of understanding among peoples and mutual enrichment of national cultures , loyalty to the ideals of high art.
Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Kazakhstan Khasanov Ayrat Rashadovich expressed the words of gratitude to all the collective.
Having contributed a lot of support for this musical celebration, President of the Association of Tatar and Tatar-Bashkir social and cultural centers " Idel " Rafik Garifovich Valiev thanked the young winners of the festival and said that the concert was a significant event in the national cultural life of compatriots.
The project has been organized in Astana, by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Tatarstan in the Republic of Kazakhstan , the RT Public Fund of Tatar culture n.a.
