April 5, in honor of its birthday National Museum of Tatarstan traditionally held Open Day

119 years ago, April 5, 1895, the Kazan Scientific and Industrial Museum, now - the National Museum of the Republic of Tatarstan   opened its doors to the general public. April 5, 2014,   in honor of this event, Open Day   of Museum  is traditionally held.

Visitors met  in the    RT NM halls  the characters resurrected from  the past, who introduced    guests  its  expositions and exhibitions. Participants were able to join   master classes on traditional crafts at the Golden hands of masters. Creative activities for the younger school audience  were organized  on the  museum  playground.

At 12.AM,    a presentation   of the new official website of RT NM  was held  in the conference hall of the National Museum of Tatarstan. Summarizing    took place  of several competitions:    the III Annual competition “With  world of museum " among journalists  and    the II Republican contest  of  tour routes "Necklace of Tatarstan."

At 2.PM,  a solemn closing of  traditional charity event "Days of gifts " and rewarding donors,   having brought  the oldest , rarest or most interesting thing   to the museum. "Exhibition of the gifts of 2014 " was available for visitors throughout the day.

An exhibition of miniatures "Miracles under the microscope ,"   was active,   a touching exhibition of fancy rats. Also,  the program included: demonstration of films about the museum, lectures, funds screenings, of course, a birthday cake!

First time in the history of RT NM,  museum staff and guests took part in the ceremonial   of  laying of " A memory capsule" with a message for posterity in the museum courtyard , and then launched   a salute  balls into the sky.Members of military-historical club  "Vityaz" held   for the guests  a historical military maneuvers "The Taking of Paris" ( 1814)  by  Russian troops to mark the 200th anniversary of this event.
