The exhibition of Turkish photographer Mustafa Dedeoglu "Istanbul and others" opens at the National Gallery of Art Hazine in Kazan

Today, April 3, at the Hazine National Art Gallery, in Kazan, the exhibition of Turkish photographer Mustafa Dedeoglu "Istanbul and others" opened.

Not big by numerical composition of the exhibits, but very informative on content, the exhibition consists of 30 black-and-white-pictures. According to Mustafa Dedeoglu, black-and-white photography creates a more dramatic effect. "I tried different options, but I return to black and white photography. All the works reflect my inner world" - he said.

The main theme of the exhibition - the city of Istanbul with its ancient history, features, people. All photos are emotional, some philosophical, it is clear that they are filled with love for his own country. One characteristic of Istanbul, according to the photographer, are birds, so they are seen  on many of his works . "Istanbul is impossible to imagine without the birds", - he explained.

As the Consul General of Turkey in Kazan Sabri Tunch Angyly marked, a versatile photographer was able to show Turkey because along with landscapes in his works can be seen also different people.

"Tatar and Turkish peoples are united by some cultural ties, and we have a lot in common. And today,  this  link should be maintained , we need to better know and understand each other's culture -  Consul said in his welcoming remarks , - I hope that the exhibition will cause the same interest like it aroused while  held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan. "

Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Svetlana Persova stressed that thanks to such shows, the view of Turkey and Turkish artists-photographers   becomes closer and clearer   for us.

As  deputy director for scientific support and publishing  of RT SMFA  Dina  Khisamova says,   Mustafa Dedeoglu - is very famous master, despite the fact that in  photo art he  has been not so long ago. He has already won its audience not only in Turkey, but also far beyond its borders. His photographs are extremely sonorous, they impressively present Istanbul, she expressed her impression.

The main photo exhibition is "Beauty", which shows a blonde girl. Putting forward this work to the fore, the organizers explained that the girl by her  spontaneity and youth personifies the image of Turkey. This opinion is shared by the author himself.

"It is an indicative picture. It reflects a young, dynamic Turkey, even nostalgia. This photograph I took in the eastern region of the country, having  looked into the first village  where I was surrounded by children. First, there was this girl", - said the photographer.

Mustafa Dedeoglu called himself  "A street photographer". Photographing the Istanbul life, it often becomes a witness to interesting situations. "For example, picture the "Son". Due to illness of his father,  the  son    for five years carried  him  on his back. I was able to reflect this in the picture - it is a good luck for me "-  photographer shared.

Mustafa Dedeoglu exhibition "Istanbul and others" in Kazan lasts until April 25.
