Project Manager of "White Cane" and "Sail spirit" business consultant Oleg Kolpashchikov visited Kazan

In a joint project of the Republican  Special Library for the Blind and Visually Impaired  and the Sverdlovsk Regional Special Library for the Blind  Oleg Kolpashchikov  was  on a business trip  in.

March 21,  guests with library director N.I  Safargaleev   and head of the department of organizational- methodological and bibliographic activities  G.T.  Zakirova visited Laishvsky  special (correctional ) boarding school for the blind and visually impaired children.  Oleg  Borisovich  held a motivational training  «Multimobility»  for blind children at the school. Based on his experience, he talked about how bright and interesting life can live blind people,  about  the  examples of overcoming difficult situations.   The  guests  have familiarized with  school work, creative works of pupils. Children prepared  concert as a gift. At the end, Oleg and Nail Ibragimovic answered  the children's questions relating to the movement "White Cane" and the activities of the library.

March 22,  an inclusive master class "Technologies   of  adaptations "   was held  in a  reading room of the library.    The event was attended   by  readers and library staff , All-Russia Organization of the Blind (AOB)  activists, parents of disabled children . The master class  paid great attention to the multi- mobility of people with disabilities. Oleg Kolpashchikov talked about the difficulties and opportunities faced by blind people and how they can make a more harmonious environment for both blind and sighted people, as well as projects and technological solutions that support an active lifestyle of people with visual impairments.

Leitmotif in all the activities was a call  for the disabled and healthy people to become independent,  successful in life, be   helpful to others,  and motivation to change the inner consciousness of visually impaired people, improve their social and business activity.

The event aroused great interest among the participants. In this regard, it was decided to continue such activities in the future.
