The Gallery of Modern Art presents an exhibition - sale "Art of Tatarstan in the Olympic Sochi"

On April 3, the Gallery of Modern Art opens exhibition - sale «Art of Tatarstan at the Olympic Sochi». This exhibition is dedicated to the opening of the Olympic Games and has already been presented to the audience in Sochi in February-March 2014 as an exhibition - sale. The main purpose of it was to show and present the past and the present, ancient and modern Kazan - the capital of the World Summer Universiade held in our city in 2013.

Tower and pavilion «Kazan» by  its  architecture  present   building  stylized  under  Syuyumbeki tower, and magnificent ensemble of Kazan station in Moscow , as well as the towers of the Kazan Kremlin. It exhibited 92 works by leading artists of the Republic of Tatarstan.

On three floors of the tower paintings and graphic works  were displayed . Of particular interest to visitors and guests of the Olympiad presented  paintings and drawings on a historical theme   by  F.G. Khalikov and R.G.  Shamsutdinov  and urban landscape with views of Kazan in the works of A.F. Inshakov , BC Gazeeva, F.A. Suyurova,  I.M. Samakaeva, A.A. Yusupova . Jewelry  by   I.A. Vasilyeva and T.V. Solovjova , leather mosaic N.H. Kumysnikova , decorative panels N.A. Galyavieva ,  the products of   "Turan Art" presented  contemporary arts and crafts.
