A press conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Republic House of Folk Arts took place at the RT MC

April 1, the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan held a press conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Republic House of Folk Arts.

Opening the conference, Zavgarova F.H - Director of the National Centre for the Development of Traditional Culture, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan, Cand.sc.(Philology)  noted a historic significance of the establishment of the House of Folk Art in the development of the Tatar national culture and the cultures of the peoples of our country. She also spoke about the prospects of development of the activities of the Republican center of traditional culture, which is a continuation of the House of Folk Arts.

The House of Folk Arts was established on April 2, 1939. 40 years later, in December, 1979, it was reorganized into the Republican scientific-methodical center of folk art and cultural work. In 2011, RSMC, in 32 years, was reorganized into the National Centre for Development of Traditional Culture. At every stage of its activities every new venerated institution continued the tradition of folk art houses, enriching them with a new content and time requirements .

The press conference was attended by members of  RCSDTC - Gabdrakhmanov G.A. - Deputy Director, Honored Worker of Culture of Tatarstan, Gareeva L.A. - artistic director, Honored Worker of Culture of Russia and Tatarstan  Gataullin  B.C. - composer , Honored Artist RT,  Dedyuleva R.R. – chief of org. section, Sagbieva N.A. - Head of the Department of holidays, the veteran of  folk culture Kadyrov I.S.

A Gala concert dedicated to the anniversary of the House of Folk Art will be held on May 5 in the concert hall of the G.Tukai Tatar State Philharmonic. Starting at 17.00.
