Meeting with People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Bagmanov and presentation of his book "Son of Almandar" to be held in RT NL

March 17, at 5pm, in a Reading Room of the National Library of the Republic of Tatarstan  a creative meeting with the People's Artist of Tatarstan Irek Bagmanov and presentation of his book "Son of Almandar" will be held. Admission is free.

The book   "Son of Almandar "  is devoted to the work of People's Artist of Tatarstan  Irek Bagmanova, published in 2013. Authors of the idea and project managers - Shamil Zakirov and Ilfir Yakupov . The book contains memories of   Irek Bagmanov’s  family, early acting career, memories of outstanding actors with whom he had a chance to work. Also,   the book includes the most interesting interviews of  I. Bagmanov to  various print media.

Irek Valievich Bagmanov born January 6, 1932 in Almetyevsk.

From 1951 to 1954 served as a sailor in the Northern Fleet , and in 1958 he enrolled in drama school at Kazan Bolshoi Drama Theater after  V.Kachalova.

From 1961 to 1964 - National Artist of traveling theater, since 1964 - in the Tatar Academic Theatre. Irek Bagmanov played more than 300 roles, among them images of  Insaf ( "Mom came " Sh.Khusaenov ) Akhun ("Hodja Nasretdin"  by N.Isanbet ), Iskandar ("Village of Almandar Aldermysh"   by  T.Minnullin ) and many others. In 1982 the actor was awarded the title "People's Artist of Tatarstan."
