Within the framework of the Year of Culture in a reading room of the Republican Special Library for the Blind and Partially Sighted, a personal exhibition of Anisa Shafieva "Gorodets painting " has opened
Anisa Kotdusovny Shafieva exhibition presents visitors a wonderful world of Gorodets painting - Russian folk art craft that was developed from the middle of the XIX century on the banks of the Volga River near the town of Gorodets , founded in the 12th century, the Nizhny Novgorod region. Chamomiles, roses , lilies, kupavki like fire and other fabulous flowers painted on boards and panels presented at the exhibition are blossoming.
In total, the author in exposure demonstrates over 15 creative works. This is just a small part of the creative works by Anisa Shafieva. It includes an extensive collection of household items, children's and home furniture, bread bins and other products. Number of works on Gorodets paiting by Anisa Shafieva counts thousands.
The exhibition also presents materials on the life and activities, hobbies of Anisa Shafieva: newspaper articles, photographs and certificates confirming her success in various fields.
Anisa Shafieva has got involved in Gorodets painting since 80s. Devoted to her passion, she remained even after a sharp deterioration of vision. More than forty years of her life, she devoted parenting in kindergarten. Today, Anisa Shafieva, an active member of the Zainsk local organization and VOS and VOI. In addition to painting on wood, she writes articles and poems, works with local periodicals, playing sports, participate in creative and social life of the community of persons with disabilities and the blind.
Anise Shafieva not only paints wooden products, but also promotes the active folk craft. Passes the secrets of her skill to children. She demonstrates their works at exhibitions in the cities of Tatarstan and Russia. Now, the Kazaners can also evaluate the works of not officially recognized master of Gorodets painting.

The exhibition is presented in the framework of the "Blind culture and art figures of the Republic Tatarstan" , whose goal is to familiarize the general public with talented visually impaired people, to popularize art of the visually impaired.
