The exhibition of a nominee for the G.Tukai state award Ilgizar Samakaev opens at the Gallery of Modern Art in RT SMFA

March 13, at 16.00, at the RT State Museum of Fine Arts,   in the  Gallery of Modern Art, a solo exhibition of  Ilgizar Samakaeva , a nominee  for the  G.Tukai  state award is due to open.

Ilgizar Samakaev - artist, is  successfully working  in Kazan after graduating  the V.I. Surikov  Moscow Academic Art Institute   in 1981 under the leadership of Master D.K. Mochalsky. Starting his career falls at the beginning of the 1980s. One of the main genres in which I. Samakaev works is a portrait.

From portraits of   the concrete   people, personalities,   it is natural for painter transition    to multi-figure compositions , a big picture. Maturity of his work  falls  at the beginning of the 1990s. At this time,  an extraordinary interest in the history of own   people  in art  grew, to understanding   its  own   roots revival. Ilgizar Samakaev    in his historical paintings drew his attention to the history of the Bolgars - they coming  to the Volga and the adoption of Islam.

Landscape also attracts  the artist. Close to him pictures of nature of  Tatarstan. With much love and warmth depicts the artist  unique vintage streets of  Kazan,  native home town - it is also their "portraits" with their expressions of " faces", with their  characters."

In real time I.M.Samakaev, chairman of the   Creative  union of Artists of Russia  in Tatarstan,  is one of the leading artists of the republic.
