RT State Song and Dance Ensemble continues concert marathon through new rural Tatarstan clubs and in addition to concerts holds master classes in dance, vocal, instrumental performance

This year, the repertoire of the RT State Song and Dance Ensemble is  supplemented by the  two new productions. This was announced today at the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan at a press conference on the concert activity of the Republic of Tatarstan, by artistic director of the RT State Song and Dance Ensemble Ayrat Khametov.

He said that he has already begun working  on the vocal and choreographic composition "Ak murzalar" (" White nobleman"). Close to readiness a new item  "Altyn puta  (Golden Belt) - men dance to music of  R.Salimov. Alsom the artists  of the collective will restore a concert program "On touring meridians ."

According to the director of the RT  State Song and Dance Ensemble  Yuri Zhukov, RT State Song and Dance Ensemble concert marathon   continues through new rural clubs Tatarstan. To date, within the project, about 10 non-profit concerts have already taken place. Besides the concerts,  master classes in dance, vocal, instrumental performance, creative meetings and consultations are held.

"We not only gift art and skill to the villagers, we want also to support people, who lead busy lives, their creativity and humor. Moreover, it resonates.  We are charging ourselves by this atmosphere, "- Yuri Zhukov says.

Tomorrow, a chorus group of the ensemble performs at the Opening Ceremony of the XI Paralympic Games in Sochi.

The near future (from 14 to 26 March), solo concerts of  the State Ensemble  of Song and Dance are planned in towns of Tatarstan, Bashkortostan and  Orenburg. A large solo concert of the Ensemble is planned in Kazan in December.
