At the Museum of Tatarstan history of statehood and Tatarstan Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin " Exhibition of "Golden Horde antiquity. Forgotten town Azak " is due to open.

 March 7, at 2.00  PM, at the Museum of  Tatarstan history statehood of the Tatar people and Tatarstan Museum-Reserve "Kazan Kremlin" an  exhibition "Golden Horde antiquity. Forgotten town  Azak " is to be open. It is dedicated to the rich material culture of the era of the Golden Horde.

Unique archaeological items, having gained prominence   everywhere in the world, will arrive in Kazan of Azov - medieval Golden Azaka, one of the most ancient settlements in the south of Russia, a town  rich in history, the intersection of eras and cultures. Azov historical and archaeological and paleontological museum holds one of the richest collections of the Golden finds, among which we can safely allocate the Golden variety of dishes : Kashin glazed vessels, irrigation red clay, and gray-clay pottery with intricate white clay  stamped ornament from Central Asia, various tare, kitchen , dining and special unglazed ceramics  of  sphere cones, pieces of glass, etc. Today we can say without exaggeration that the Golden collection of dishes, which has  Azov Museum, is the most significant not only within Russia and the CIS, but also throughout the world , and some specimens are considered to be unique in its kind. Part of this extensive collection, the first outside of Azov, will  see Kazan   residents and visitors to our city.
