In IA Tatar-Inform a press conference was held dedicated to the II International Music Festival «L'arte del arco»

The  II International Music Festival «L'arte del arco» will include works that have not previously been performed in Tatarstan and Russia. This was   told    by  artistic director of the orchestra «La Primavera», Honored Artist of Russia, People's Artist and Honored Artist of Tatarstan Rustam Abayazov  at the press-conference  held  in IA   Tatar-Inform.

The festival is to take place from March 11 to 14 at the Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny venues  with the support of the RT Ministry of Culture.

This year,  number of  participants expanded. The quartet of two violinists Hugo Tichchiati (Sweden) and Thomas Gould (UK), violist Alexei Ludewig ( Russia, St. Petersburg) and cellist Mark Drobinsky (France), as well as the collective «Rastrelli Cello Quartet», which includes Cyril Kravtsov (Artistic Director ), Michail Degtyarev, Kirill Timofeev, Sergey Drabkin.

The works not only  of the classics , but also contemporary authors   will sound  on the scene. Tatarstan and Russian premiers  will be a  surprise. So, Hugo Tichchiati will  perform written specifically for him  by  famous composer Sverre Yoner tango Concerto for Violin and String Orchestra, which first sounded in Russia. Also for the first time, in Tatarstan,   concert symphony  for violin, viola and orchestra  of  Karl Stamitz .

Besides concerts, the arrived  musicians will give free workshops to high school students   of  the special music school.
