A Premiere of "The Last Communist" based on the novel by Valery Zalotukha took part at the Kazan Academic Russian Drama Theater named after V.Kachalov

Yesterday, February 19, on the small stage of V. Kachalov  Kazan Academic Russian Bolshoi Drama Theater a  premiere of "The Last Communist" based on the novel by Valery Zalotuhi   took place.

Renowned cinematographer, writer, winner of the " Nika" Valery Zalotukha    on opening day   became  an honorary spectator. Staging of the  story that have been   shortlisted  in    "Booker"  in the year 2000,  has been realized   by  theater's artistic chief, director Alexander Slavutskii .

Premiere performances will also be held  February  21, 22 , February 27.
