Today Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "The traditional culture of the peoples of the Volga Region" comes to the end

From  February  11 to 13,  2014, Kazan State University of Culture and Arts in conjunction with the National Center for Development of Traditional Culture holds the All-Russian scientific and practical conference with international participation "Traditional Culture of the Volga."

The conference brought together scientists,  research centers in the Volga region of Russia, professors, associate professors, lecturers of  Russia.

As part of the scientific-practical conference various aspects of the traditional culture of the peoples of the Volga region  are discussed, including: the current state of the traditional culture of the peoples of the Volga region, folklore and written traditions. Folklorism problems in the literature; fieldwork  research  of traditional culture of the Volga region, the problems of ethnomusicology; genre typology of folk music, folk choreography: problems of study and implementation, etc.
