Tatarstan young masters of singing go to Sochi Olympics
February 15, ten members of Children's Choir of Russia representing Tatarstan, leave for Sochi to participate in the closing ceremony of the XXII Olympic Winter Games. A "Dream team" consists of the best voices of the republic, including pupils of music schools and children's art schools from Kazan and Zelenodol'sk.
We remind that the Russian Children's Choir , an unprecedented scale team was established by the Government of the Russian Federation and the Russian Ministry of Culture. This initiative is directly connected with the revival of choir traditions in our country, and recreating the All-Russian Choral Society , the decision about which was adopted February 15, 2013 at the inaugural meeting of the organization. It was attended by well-known artistes , heads of leading choirs and the country's largest music schools. Chairman of the All-Russian Choral Society was elected artistic director of the Mariinsky Theatre, People's Artist of Russia Valery Abisalovich Gergiev. Creation of a thousand children's team was the first significant project of society. Members of its presidium personally involved in the selection of young talents, traveling from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. From each region of the country, 10 people entered the choir’s composition.
Competitive selection of participants from Tatarstan, which jury was headed by delegated from the All choral society Professor of the Moscow Conservatory, conductor and composer Valery Yurievich Kalistratov was held October 13, 2013. A substantial part of the work on the provisional organization of the process rests on the shoulders of leading choir - State Chamber Choir of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its artistic director, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Milyausha Tamindarova is a representative of the All-Russian choral society in our republic. Competition Supervisor, Director of the collective Anastasia Chuprunova said that the final identification of finalists was preceded by a process of monitoring children's choirs, which was the reason for holding the republican contest. As a result, the top ten were chosen from the winning teams. They were pupils of Children's Music School № 4, Ilya Becker, Elmar Teymirov, Nikita Tochilkin, pupils of Children school of arts № 4 of the Soviet city district Zarina Yulbarisova, Adilya Khusnutdinova, Alina Burnasheva , Lily Safina, Ajgul Gallyamova, a student of CSA of Kazan Volga city district Ajgul Gayazetdinova and Ustina Bagryanskaya representing Children school of Arts from Zelenodol'sk.
In early January, the youngsters have already been to St. Petersburg where the team held its first rehearsal, one of which on January 7 was visited by the Russian President Vladimir Putin. January 8, at the new Mariinsky Theatre, with a full house , the first concert of the Children's Choir accompanied by Russian Symphony Orchestra under Valery Gergiev, aired by the TV channel "Culture" took place.
Very soon the young masters of singing will win the hearts of millions of viewers from around the globe, who will be watching the closing ceremony of the Winter Olympics - 2014. Youngsters go to Moscow by plane and from the train station to the capital Sochi travel by a special " Olympic " train. Young musicians will be settled in the children's sanatorium "Youth". Before an important performance they expect to hold “a sport" regime - a few days of rehearsals in the Olympics park, the press service of RT SGKH informs.
