The exhibition "Distinguished Professor in the Department of Russian Literature of the Kazan University" dated to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Bulich in a large reading hall of the RT d National Library is open

From January to March 2014, the  exhibition "Distinguished Professor in the Department of Russian Literature of the Kazan University " to the 190th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Bulich (1824 - 1895)  is open  in a large reading room of the RT National Library.

Nicholai Nikitich Bulich – a well known literary critic , corresponding member of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences, the first historian of the University of Kazan and "Honorary observer" of  Kazan City Public Library .

Last years of his life story Bulich actively developed his  dear  university . "The author  served for so long to  Kazan University, so much obliged to it  that his work  delivered and delivers  him a great pleasure ... " -  he writes in his introduction to the book, "From the early years of the University of Kazan (1805-1819) : Stories on archival documents" (Kazan, 1887).  Nikolai Nikititch took   a dynamic  part  in the activities of the Kazan City Public Library, he is the author of " Systematic catalog of Russian books of  Kazan City Public Library " (Kazan, 1878).

The exhibition   has been  prepared by the Department of Manuscripts and Rare Books Library , shows the individual articles and books of literary criticism , as well as works on the life and work of N.N.  Bulich, the press office of the RT National library informs.
