People's Artist of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, a Laureate of G.Tukai State Award, Professor Emeritus, a Soloist of M. Jalil Tatar State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet Venera Ganieva

March 4-5,  2014,  on the basis of the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts  First  International Vocal Competition "Sandugach - Nightingale" is to be held, which will be a springboard and a stimulus for creative growth , improvement of professional skills and performance culture for raising  spiritual and intellectual level , while preserving   true loyalty to the traditions of her nation.

Within  the  competition  creative meetings and workshops with prominent figures of culture , opening  new horizons for creative inspiration of youth  will be held.

Competition  to  be  carried out  on the initiative of the People's Artist of Russia and Tatarstan , a Laureate  of  G. Tukai  State Award, Honorary Professor , a prima donna  of M. Jalil  TSATOB M.Jalil  Venera Ganieva  - who is characterized by high professionalism , artistry , impeccable vocal school , a deep understanding of the performing arts.

Opera and concert repertoire  of  V. Ganieva is the best example of vocal music , her actor’s  performance skills as an example for talented young people and is a model to follow.

The competition program also includes works from the repertoire of  V Ganieva ( aria, romance, folk, pop song ).
