New Year shows passed with great success at the theater "Ekiyat"

During the New Year  vacations ,  highly successful New Year performances  took place at the Tatar State Theatre "Ekiyat ".

The play “The sun and snow men” by A.Veselov, staged by Ildus Zinnurov and the play “Gifts from Ded Moroz” by N.Abramtseva (literary translation into Tatar by L.Leron).

Before each performance,  in the theater lobby,   interludes were  played  around the New Year  tree with  Ded Moroz and Snegurochka  and favorite heroes of  cartoon "Madagascar" – charming zebra Marty, Lion comic, darling of  kids and trickster - Begemotikha, symbol of the coming year - Horse. Prizes were awarded to winners of the competitions and the best the New Year costumes.

Feature of the current New Year celebration was the fact that the performances were held in the Tatar language.

Festive marathon   began on December 20, ended on January 8.  Over the entire period of "the New Year Campaign", theater actors have played 72 performances and pleased 17,700 spectators.
