Government summed up New Year celebrations

Today  the  results of festive Christmas and New Year events in Tatarstan have been summed up by  participants of  briefing  in the House of the RT  Government.

Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Airat Sibagatullin  spoke  about the  cultural events held in the country during the  New Year  holidays . In the period from   December 25,   2013  to January 8, 2014,  the New Year performances  have been held  in almost all state, municipal and non-state  cultural institutions .

Only  in  21 republican   theatrical entertainment establishments  about 500 events    took place. The greatest number of performances   have  been shown in the Tatar State Theatre "Ekiyat ",  Almetyevsk Tatar State Drama Theatre, Buinsk State Drama Theatre, G. Tukai  Tatar State Philharmonic , Menzelinsky Tatar State Drama Theatre after S.Amutbaev .

State  museums and museum-reserve for children during the New Year vacations   organized about 30 events. National Museum of Tatarstan presented  a New Year  Gift Fair Museum Bazaar ,  meeting with   favorite characters from fairy tales  Father Frost  and three girls. The museums of the Kazan Kremlin passed a lot of activities for pupils . It is an exhibition about the history of New Year  tree   Candles, Garlands , fluffy fir ... ; master classes  on making  New Year  toys of different materials at the exhibition Arkaim - Through the Looking Glass: XXI century BC - XXI Century AD ,  New Year  Toys ; special New Year  programs for children  Hijra: the magic caravan ,  The magic of animation  and others.

In general, according to preliminary estimates,   about 200 thousand  spectators   took part   only in   the  events organized by state  institutions of culture and arts.
