Fire Sochi Olympics arrived in Svijazhsk

Today in the afternoon fire Sochi Olympics has arrived in Svijazhsk . On the island-town, the fire Winter Olympics was brought from Bulgaria.

Torchbearers and spectators were greeted by State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin. In the welcoming ceremony the Olympic torch relay was also attended by the head of Zelenodolsky  region  Alexander Tygin, Assistant to the President on Social Affairs, Executive Director of the National Fund revival historical and RT cultural monuments Tatiana Larionova.

«Coming in hundreds of thousands of kilometers, rising to high peaks of Elbrus, dropping to the bottom of Lake Baikal, visiting space, the Olympic flame arrived in the land of Tatarstan» - began her speech the head of Tatarstan parliament. He congratulated all on this historic occasion.

Then, the fire Winter Olympics - 2014 went to the capital Kazan.
