Award Garif Akhunov was handed eighth time in Arsk to young talents of the Arsk region in the field of literature and art

November 22, 2013, in Arsk, eighth time, Garif Akhunov’s Award was handed  to young talents of the Arska region in the field of literature and art.

Before that, in the early morning, the writers of Kazan and  deputy head of the Arsk  region administration  on  culture Nadia Miftakhutdinova,  at the  Tatar cemetery, laid flowers on the graves of  the national writer of Tatarstan  Garif Akhunov and his spouse,  a writer Shaida Maksudova.

Festival was held in a local art school, it  turned to be versatile, beautiful and home-style soulful. The winners were congratulated by head of Arsk administration  Almas Nazirov,  famous Tatar poets  Robert Minnullin and Nail Kassimov, chairman of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan Rafis Kurbanov , and daughter of the writer, poetess Nailya Akhunova, on behalf of the  Akhunovs.
