Throat singing, and dancing chichirdyk by Xinjiang Kalmyks

December 16,  at 18.00,  in the M. Jalil  Tatar Academic Opera and Ballet   Theatre a joint concert of the  RT  State Song and Dance Ensemble  and the Kalmyk State Song and Dance Ensemble "Tulip" (Elista)  will be held. The concert will be a continuation of the  Friendship Bridge in which artists  of  RT  GASD perform  with the largest Russian national dance groups.

Earlier in Kazan,   joint concerts  were held  with the ensemble of Tatarstan  and  State  dance  ensemble Siberia (Krasnoyarsk), Udmurt collective  Italmas  (Izhevsk) and the famous dance ensemble  named after I.Moiseev (Moscow).

Guests of Kalmykia present a rich program consisting of pearls of national folk art.  Performance is to be  opened   by vocal and choreographic composition  Celebration in Hoton  (Hoton - Kalmyk steppe village), then a throat Chanting Djangar  (Djangar - Kalmyk historical and heroic epic story about  happiness and prosperity of the country ) follows,  and the famous Kalmyk dance -  Ishkimdyk  (men's fast, sharp dance where a dancer rises  in a  high jump), Chichirdyk ( Soaring eagle  - dance, including movement of the shoulders up and down ( shaking), which, apparently, is an imitation of birds takes off ) Oirat dance ( dance  of  Xinjiang Kalmyks),  Tsetskyarich  (Blossom, my Kalmykia ) and others.
