On scene of Almetievsky Tatar Drama Theatre a premiere of the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare

December 7th, on  the scene of  Almetievsky Tatar Drama Theatre  a jubilee  evening  of  RT  People's Artist of  Raushaniya Fayzullina  took place. It was not just the anniversary evening , but a benefit - premiere performance of Romeo and Juliet  by William Shakespeare directed by  director of the St. Petersburg Iskander Sakaev. December 5, journalists were the first to see a new production and were able to talk with the director. "We went to the Russian level  with  Almetievsk theater, -   the director said. - But this is not an  ultimate dream for one simple reason: quite  often,  critics in Russia refer to the National Theatre down upon. I want to prove  people from critical level  that national theater may be different, it's not just a bad carbon copy of Russian theater or ethnics - dances with harmonics  in boots or sandals. Tatar theater must be a European  one. Our way is  in this direction."
