Kazan International Festival «Filarmoniada 2013» kicked off

Yesterday, December 5, the VI International Festival of Arts «Filarmoniada»  kicked off  in Kazan.

It was first organized in 2008 in order to present  the  art of  «high level» in all its diversity with involvement of the masters of world size, opening new talented names.

This festival is the only of its kind in Kazan, as it covers the entire philharmonic activities and represents all genres of performing arts, from classical to jazz, from spoken to dance genre from folk to pop.

At the opening ceremony of the festival participants and guests were warmly greeted by  RT  Deputy Minister of Culture  Irada Aiupova. Then, a concert of the RT  State Ensemble of Folk Music and  Chuvash State Academic Song and Dance Ensembletook place.

Today, December 6, at 18.00, in the framework of «Filarmoniada», Yuri Stoyanov and Ensemble of Soloists of Moscow Philharmonic «Madrigal» will present a new project - a literary and musical composition «Decameron» (D. Boccaccio).

The Ensemble «Indialucia» with a unique musical project that connects flamenco and Indian music, Vladimir Vinokur and his theater skits, Vasily Lanovoi,  Valery Kovtun and others will perform also   at the Concert Hall of the  G. Tukai Tatar State Philharmonic.
