Art Exhibition “Bridges of culture” opened in a building of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan

Yesterday Art Exhibition "Bridges   of Culture" opened   in a building of the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey  in Kazan. It includes  the works  of Mehmet Basbug (Turkey), Hamza Sharipov (Tatarstan) and Praski  Vitti (Chuvashia).

The works presented at the exhibition are designed to help artists get to know different cultures and develop friendship between them.

According to Deputy RT  Prime Minister Yuri Kamaltynov, Kazan is not the first time becomes a cultural platform where a dialogue  is arranged  between different cultures, including in the framework of the Turkic world.

"By Decision of the Standing Council of Culture Ministers - Members of the International Organization of Turkic Culture TURKSOI,    Kazan  will be a capital of the Turkic world  in 2014, and today's exhibition  is the best pre-start   to a very interesting cultural event ", - Yu.Kamaltynov said.

According to the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Kazan  Tunch Angyly Sabri,  a joint art exhibition of the Republic of Tatarstan, Turkey and the Chuvash Republic  in Kazan is held for the first time. "We think that a deep sense is concluded  in this  because  cultural relationship between our  nations already exists, and we hope that this dialogue will be transferred to the next generation ," - said the consul.
