First night of one-woman performance Mother by play of Mustai Karim

November 22 and 23,  at 18.00,  a first night   one-woman  performace , «Mother» («Ana») on the works of  Mustai Karim  to be performed  on  G. Kamal Small Stage Theatre. Solo performance will be presented in repertory for the first time in  history of the   theater. Director of the play  - Ramil Garaev. The main role - Halima Iskanderova, Honored Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan. Staging - Iltazara Muhammatgalieva.

Solo performances very rarely appear on the posters in the regions. As a rule, in the form of independent  work of actors.  Kamal Theatre - is no exception.

The basis of  the performance,  the text of the Mustai Karim‘s play is laid, continuing deeply revealing the theme of motherhood, sounding in his most famous play «The Night of  lunar eclipse». Tankabike confessional monologue laced with pathos and remorse for a tragic mistake that led to the death of children. Mother – Lady- ancestor, obeying the will of the elders and  power of tradition, breaks young lives. May be Tankabike is guilty only indirectly, sin is gnawing her  and makes reliving the fateful events of the night and look for answers to the eternal questions of life.
