Lezginka, simd and dance with daggers to be performed in Kazan

December 9, 2013 in Kazan, the first time,  the State Academic Order of Friendship of Peoples  Dance Ensemble «Alan» (North Ossetia- Alania)  performs. On the stage of the Tatar State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after M.Dzhalil,  the collective  will present  a  program «The Ossetian melody» .The concert will take place in a framework of the tour, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of a renowned collective. Beginning, the  evening at 18.30.

The State Academic Order of Friendship of Peoples Dance Ensemble «Alan» was founded in 1938. For 75 years, the ensemble artists  has retained  and developed  the best traditions of national choreography. The repertory  includes as  Ossetian dance so also   folk dances of the Caucasus, «Lezghinka», «Simd”, «Avar dance», «Dance With Daggers», «Eagle's tribe», etc. artistic director of the ensemble - Elbrus Kubalia.

All the years of its existence, the ensemble represents the culture of its  native republic in different parts of the world, conquering  by its mastery the hearts of millions. To unique temperament and high professionalism of the team was appreciated  and applauded in Berlin, Leipzig, Dresden, Amsterdam, Prague, Sofia, Belgrade, Stockholm, Reykjavik, Kabul, the cities of Belgium, Italy, France, Jordan, England, Japan, Mexico, Finland...

The collective  has been repeatedly awarded a number of prizes of  Russian and International contests. Back in 1957, the ensemble won the VI World Festival of Youth and Students in Moscow, 1968 - The World Festival of Youth and Students in Sofia. The ensemble has won the gold medal of the International Festival of the five continents in Dijon (France), winner of the «Golden Apollo», etc.
