Kazan dancers become laureates of the International Competition named after Makhmud Esambaev

Soloists of the State Song and Dance Ensemble of Tatartsan  Aigul Kiyamova and Rail Ganiev became the winners of the V International contest -festival of solo dance  named after Makhmud  Esambaev . The contest was held in Grozny  city  from 15 to 20 October, 2013.  Kazan dancers were awarded II prize in the "Duet" nomination.

Kazan rivals were contestants from 11 regions of Russia and four other countries - Abkhazia, Bulgaria, Algeria and Kazakhstan. Palm of victory   in three categories - "Solo", "Duet" and "Group dance" - challenged about 60 dancers. Participants were evaluated by a representative jury, chaired by the chief editor of the "Ballet" magazine   Valeria Uralskaya .
