Theatre "Ekiyat" will take part in festivals in Baku and Turkey

From 9 to 16 November,   Tatar troupe of performers   will take part in the II Baku International Puppet Festival, which is l take place in the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan. For the first time the artists visited it in 2011 and performed the play " Geese and Swans" dramatization  of  L.Kozhevnikova. This year, the artists of the Tatar theater troupe "Ekiyat  present to the jury the play " Goat and Sheep"  on the story by G. Tukai, dramatization of  Garai  Rahim , directed by Honored Artist of Russia and Tatarstan Ildus Zinnurov . Among the participants of the II Baku International Festival of Puppet Theatre - theater companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Great Britain, Hungary, Croatia, Turkey, Switzerland, Japan, Georgia, Tatarstan, and so on.

Before getting  invitations to festivals, the  theater passed a qualifying round. "For us, this is a happy chance not only to compete with other theaters of different countries,  but to get  also  a great experience  of communicating with other actors and directors ," - said the director of the theater "Ekiyat " Rosa Yapparova .
