Concert «Shalyapin-gala: Kazan-Petersburg» within XXI Music festival «Stars of white nights» will take place on a New stage of Mariinsky theatre

On June 17, 2013, a concert «Shalyapin-gala:Kazan –Petersburg» within a framework of XXI Music festival «Stars of white nights» took place on a new stage of Mariinsly theatre. The soloists of  M. Jalil Tatar academic state theatre of opera and ballet Albina Shagimuratova, Mikhail Kozakov and conductor Renat Salavatov  took part in the concert. 

The concert was full house – Albina Shagimuratova  for long could  not leave  the scene,  a storm of applause came also   from the audience on Mikhail Kozakov. After the end of the concert, maestro Gergiev held an excursion    for Tatrstan delegation in a new building of Mariinsky theatre.

«In due time, I worked in Mariinsky theatre at the invitation of Valery Gergiev, I know well this  theatre,- Renat Salavatov tells. – But on a New scene, opened only May, I  conducted first time. This is a splendid  modern building, which, without doubts, will  decorate the city. «Shalyapin -gala» - first joint project in Petersburgв of Tatar theatre of opera and ballet.  

The return visit of  «marrinsky artists»  will take place  already in a month  – July 17, on the scene of M. Jalil TASTO & B within International music festival  «Shalyapin. Nuriev. Kazan»  a Gala concert is to be held with participation of stars of world opera and orchestra of Mariinsky theatre under conduct of maestro Valery Gergiev, M. Jalil  TASTO&B press service informs.
